Thank You Note

Thanks so much to everyone, who was able to attend my virtual birthday party on Saturday! It was absolutely brilliant and the excitement was palpable! I was amazed by the response and I received some wonderful comments and virtual presents!

To anyone, who was unable to come, for whatever reason, I would just like to say that you were sadly missed and I do hope that you will be able to come along to the next one. Heavens, will there be another one? If there is, I must be better organised and I won't be risking bloggers' post scheduling, again, unless I can work out what went wrong, this time!

To any latecomers - don't be too shy to leave a comment on the party post. The party can continue for a few days, yet. This is the internet, after all!

I am working on the next post, but real life is getting in the way, a little, at the moment. Don't you just hate it, when that happens?

THanks for inviting me. Have got over the spam sandwiches now.

Btw I do work, honest, about 60hours a week in term time, I don't know how I fit in the blogging; it's a diversion when I should be writing exams, test, reports, etc. Good job blogs are blocked on the network at work or I'd never get anything done!

working mum - Glad you're feeling OK again! Hmmm! We believe you, of course! Blogging should only ever be done, when there are a thousand other things you should be doing, instead. It's not enjoyable, otherwise.

Blogs blocked on the network? Oh, now that really is mean!

I have a virtual hangover but I am consoling myself with the fact that I nicked your hat with the money in it and my weekend at the health spa went very nicely thanks!

Life, is that something else I have to fit in between work, weans and blogging ?

mob - Well, I'm glad that you are enjoying yourself, with my hat! Sorry about the hangover. That shandy tasted better than I remembered!

auntiegwen - Not necessarily, but some of us feel obliged to have a go!

bollinger byrd - No, there isn't much going on, worth knowing about, to be honest.

Yes, that life thing has been getting in my way too!

maggie may - I wish! I scanned one of my birthday cards. The picture came out well, didn't it?

I don't seem to have the knack of taking digital photos of my embroidery. They don't come out very well.

suburbia - I need more hours in my day. Particularly at weekends, when I like to have a lie in.

I get all these great ideas. I'm a notebook girl. I get all these great ideas but where does all the time go? I wish I had the stamina some of you seem to have. What are you all on? We've been trying to sort out wi-fi this week. I can't believe that Mr Grumpy who has a BSc in Computer Science, the Lover and his 16 year old couldn't work it out. Soo frustrating but we're almost there I hope.

Well I'm proposing a three day weekend. Anyone want to sign my virtual petition? Well actually there isn't one because I never seem to have the time to work out how, but if I could I would add one to my blog. Anyway, come and let me know if you agree. Well, that's rather stupid because who wouldn't?
Anyway, sorry I missed the big day and all the fun. What a bu**er. Jelly I love it, especially Delia's port wine jelly which no matter how many times I make it I can never remember the alcohol hasn't been boiled off and it is therefore verrry, verrry potent. Hic! Shall I bring some next year? How many bowls do you think? Happy belated birthday

icemaidensmellingthecoffee - The men in my house had problems with wi-fi, too. I tend to blog into the early hours and then feel very tired next day. A 3 day weekend would be great. I could catch up with my sleep on one of them!

Sorry you missed the party. It was a great day! Port wine jelly sounds wonderful! Bring plenty to my next party. Thanks for your belated birthday wishes. They're still very welcome! Thanks for calling in.
